Why is your religion any more legitimate or believable than another?

Question

Why is your religion any more legitimate or believable than another?
Yes. I know this question belongs in the RampS section. Ive already asked it there. But I think that the people in the philosophy section tend to be more objective and creative, so I was interested to see how these answers might vary.

Answer

because the basic tenets of all religions are based on dogmatism and the heads of religions preach that only the followers of their religion only go to heaven or get salvation.brthis applies in the case of political ideologies also.brall this happens because , everybody thinks that he is right and others are wrong.

My friends say I use to many big words, and I cant help using them how do I stop!?

Question

My friends say I use to many big words, and I cant help using them how do I stop!?
Im only nine and in fourth grade would I be counted as a geek if I dont stop using the big words in my vocabulary?

Answer

Stop using big words? Whatever for? Personally, I think its great when a young person has a more advanced vocabulary at his or her disposal you look more credible, and it will help you in the long run. I say, the more words you know, the better. Just keep using big words, but be patient if your friends dont understand at first. Who knows, maybe theyll learn a few new words of their own!brbrIf you REALLY want to simplify your words, though, Id suggest possibly using only one or two big words in a single sentence. Dont stop using them, just space them out a bit. Thats actually a good technique to use when writing too many large words tends to make the writing a little dense, and it wont flow as well. So space out simpler words with more complicated ones.brbrAnd might I just say that Im impressed that for someone as young as you, you only have a couple spelling and grammar errors and on the INTERNET, no less?
